Dörr Medical pre-cleaning equipment is designed with ease of use as our main priority. Both the cold water and ultrasonic cycles can be initiated effortlessly by using the strategically placed knee panel on the front of the device.
There is a display above the control panel that clearly shows the real-time status of the cleaning process, so you always know which stage of the cleaning process the system is in. In the event of a malfunction, the nature of the problem is displayed on the screen, enabling you to take immediate action.

Manual cleaning
The core of the Dörr pre-cleaning system is the large sink with an ergonomic handheld sprayer. There are various options for expanding the system’s functionality, such as a spray gun suitable for demineralized or reverse-osmosis water, a pressurized air gun, or an inlet for connecting a steam gun.
A semi-automatic soap-dosing function is also available for soaking, which increases the efficiency and precision of the cleaning process. In order to maximize ease of use and safety, the workstation can be equipped with a splash guard that includes extraction and features integrated lighting.
Cold water pre-rinse (Nova Clean)
During the Nova Clean cycle, the instrument baskets are placed in a lift system that is connected to a fully automatic lid. Powerful sprayers in both the lid and the sides of the appliance ensure that the contents are thoroughly rinsed with cold water.
Their smart positioning delivers ideal spray coverage, effectively eliminating the toughest stains and debris. After the cycle has finished, the lid opens automatically so that the baskets can be removed easily and hygienically.
Ultrasonic cleaning (Nova Sonic)
After the manual and/or cold water pre-rinse, the instruments undergo an ultrasonic deep clean with Nova Sonic. The standard unit boasts a powerful, multifrequency generator with a range of 40 to 120 kHz, suitable for a wide range of instruments and contamination types.
The baskets are placed into the lift system, after which the lid closes automatically and the ultrasonic cycle begins. After the cycle has finished, the lid opens automatically so that the baskets can be removed for further processing.
Smart controls and maximum safety
Both the Nova Clean and the Nova Sonic are controlled by PLCs. These smart controls enable client-specific settings to be entered via preset parameters. As a result, every cycle is the perfect match for your protocols and work methods.
The PLC monitors the entire cleaning process and accurately records every step. If there are any abnormalities, the system immediately sends a clear error notification to the display, allowing you to take immediate action.
For optimum hygiene and safety, both systems are equipped with a break tank by default. This prevents contaminated water from flowing back into the drinking water network and is fully compliant with EN 13077.
