The Dörr DKW blanket warming cabinet was designed for professional use in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions. This warming cabinet is made of 304 stainless steel, features a digital thermostat/indicator, and a power switch with an indicator lamp. The DKW uses 230V~ and is compliant with directive 2006/42/EG. Thanks to the sophisticated air circulation system, the cabinet warms the blankets and mattress covers quickly and evenly.

Medical warming cabinets
Type DKW warming cabinets are often used where a patient could use some extra warmth, like recovery wards, nursing units, or even dialysis rooms. The internal circulation and perforated base result in optimal convection, heating blankets and mattress covers quickly and evenly. The compartment has a ventilation area that is covered with a perforated, stainless steel plate. This allows for proper convection, even when the cabinet is full.
Dörr warming cabinets – DKW series
The DKW series was developed to safely and efficiently heat blankets, mattress covers, and other materials. The warming cabinets are widely used in hospitals, daytime treatment centers, and other healthcare institutions where reliability and continuity are essential.
Models:
- DKW 40 & DKW 50: Features a single thermopane door that opens out to the left
- DKW 60 & DKW 2×5: Features double doors
All models are usually available from stock. There is also the option to outfit them with a flange, which makes it easier to integrate them into existing structures/furniture, while leaving the technical components easily accessible for service and maintenance.
Temperature setting
DKW warming cabinets are set to 55 °C by default.
Other temperatures can be set easily and can be changed upon request.
Featured: type DKW 2×5
The DKW 2×5 is a unique warming cabinet in the Dörr line. This model boasts two entirely separate warming areas, both of which are equipped with five sustainable polycarbonate baskets.
These dual compartments allow one area to be filled and heated, while the other remains immediately available. This makes the DKW 2×5 perfect for units with a high turnaround demand, such as recovery units and post-anesthesia care rooms.
