UMC Utrecht

UMC Utrecht is Utrecht University’s teaching hospital. With over 1,000 beds and more than 12,000 staff members, it offers specialized clinical care, scientific research and education. Located in the Utrecht Science Park, the UMC works closely with the Central Military Hospital. As one of the Netherlands’ eleven trauma centers, UMC Utrecht presides over its own mobile medical team.

Dörr Nova 4000 at UMC Utrecht

After a European invitation to tender, UMC Utrecht ultimately chose the Dörr Nova 4000 bedpan washers.

Thanks to my years of experience in UMC Utrecht’s support services, I have in-depth knowledge of how bedpan washers work.
My role in the process was to assess the construction, technical finish, components used, and physical performance during the trial run. In my opinion, Dörr Kampen scored the highest by delivering sophisticated, practical, high-quality solutions.
That’s partly why I am so pleased with UMC Utrecht’s decision to work with the Dörr Nova 4000 bedpan washers over the next few years. Dörr Kampen thoroughly identified
our preferences, translating them into a fantastic, high-quality bedpan washer that UMC Utrecht can use for many years to come.
